Founder, Parivartan
From the Founder's Heart
There comes a point, when you spend enough time in classrooms, when a simple question stays with you: Is learning really reaching every child?
Not in terms of marks or syllabus completion, but in terms of understanding, confidence, and joy.
And in many ways, our system is trying. In fact, studies show that over 85% of children in India are now enrolled in schools. That's a powerful step forward. But here's the part that stayed with me: Nearly half of children in Grade 5 still struggle to read a Grade 2 level text.
Somewhere between effort and outcome, something is getting lost. Classrooms are running, but not always connecting. Lessons are taught, but not always understood. Work is being done, but its impact doesn't always reach every child.
That's where Parivartan began. Not as an external solution, but from within — from real classrooms, real challenges, and real conversations with educators.
At its heart, Parivartan is about strengthening what truly shapes a school: its people, its processes, and its purpose.
We work with schools to pause, reflect, and rebuild — through academic audits, teacher development, curriculum support, and meaningful learning experiences. Because education is not just about what is taught. It's about what a child understands, feels, and carries forward in life.
This is not about overnight change. It's about small, thoughtful steps, better questions and continuous growth.
Parivartan, for me, is not just an organisation. It is a shared commitment to do better, to be more aware, and to create classrooms where both teachers and students can truly thrive.
Because when education begins to feel right, everything it touches begins to change.
